It’s no secret that men and women have different tastes, and that rings true even when it comes to guns.  If you’re a woman buying a gun for the first time or if you have a woman in your life that you want to buy a gun fo, then you’re probably wondering which guns are the best guns for women.  We did some digging and put a list together of the most popular guns for women. 

Glock 

Without fail, the Glock is the most common choice for women.  There are various models, but overall the Glock is a nine-millimeter handgun.  This firearm has been used by law enforcement for years.  It is simple and easy to use, with a basic design that doesn’t make shooting it complicated.  It is important for you to feel comfortable holding the gun that you buy, so we recommend trying out the different Glock models to see which one you prefer as the grip size and feel will vary.

Sig Sauer

This is another nine-millimeter handgun that is a little smaller in size, and easy to conceal but still packs a punch.  The Sig Sauer can hold 10 +1, 12+1, or 15+1 rounds despite its smaller size.  It is a popular choice amongst women because it isn’t so bulky but is still of a high enough caliber to allow a woman to still feel safe when carrying it.

HK VP9

The HK VP9 is another nine-millimeter handgun, that also comes in .40 SW.  HK  stands for Heckler and Koch and offers the first polymer striker-fired handgun on the market.  This gun also features a light-pull trigger system with ambidextrous controls, making it a breeze to operate regardless of whether you are right-handed or left-handed.

CZ 75 P-01

CZ pistols are extremely popular due to their size, and make an ideal weapon for concealed carry.  They can be slightly pricier than some of the other options, but they are worth the investment if you want a smaller gun that is easily concealed and still packs a powerful blow. 

All of these guns  a great options for a woman or a man, but you should always  consider your primary needs for carrying a weapon before purchasing any firearm
